Rehearsal schedules, in every family's calendar

DanceSchedule is rehearsal scheduling for dance studios. Plan the season on a grid of your studios and share one code with families. Every dancer gets their own schedule in the calendar on their phone, and it keeps up when things change.

  • Free for your first production
  • No app or accounts for parents
  • Your studio's own web address

Every change to the schedule turns into a dozen texts

Is Saturday in Studio B or C?
The same question, from six parents, the night before. Usually while you're trying to eat dinner.
Which PDF is the right one?
Version four went out on Tuesday. Half the families are still reading version two.
Nobody told us it moved.
You did tell them, in a group chat that's now three hundred messages long.

DanceSchedule gives every family one place to look, and it's always the current version. When a rehearsal moves, you change it once.

How it works

Set it up once. After that, every change you make reaches families on its own.

  1. 1

    Build the schedule

Paste in the spreadsheet you already have, or block out the week on a grid of your studios. Most studios are set up in an afternoon.

  2. 2

    Share one code

Each production gets an access code and a QR poster for the lobby. Families don't create accounts or download an app.

  3. 3

    Families subscribe

Parents pick their dancer's roles and add them to Apple, Google or Outlook Calendar. When you make a change, it shows up on their next refresh.

Plan the week the way you already picture it

The visual designer gives every studio a column. Drag Snow Scene into Studio A at 9:30 and all its roles come with it. Big rooms can hold two groups at once, each with its own teacher, and a role can arrive later than the rest.

If someone's booked in two rooms at once, you'll see it before the families do.

Each family sees only their own dancer's calls

Clara's parents see Clara's rehearsals, not all two hundred rows. They can see where to be, who's teaching, and whether hair needs to be done, and they can subscribe once so it's all in their phone's calendar.

It works with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars, and there's nothing to install.

Move things around without anyone seeing it half-done

Your edits wait in a draft, so you can rework Saturday as many times as you like. Families keep seeing the last published version until you're happy. When you publish, you'll see a list of exactly what's changing.

Prefer changes to go out straight away? Turn on auto-publish for that production.

Built around how a production season runs

Access codes and QR posters

Each production gets one code and a printable poster for the lobby.

Saturday and Sunday casts each see their own calls, and calls marked “All” go to everyone.

Off-site calls

Theater spacing, library shows and photo days sit alongside studio rehearsals.

Hair, makeup and fittings

Flag hair and makeup calls, and label anything that isn't a rehearsal.

Reusable groups

Save “Snow Scene” once, with its roles and staggered arrivals, then drag it in whenever you need it.
